Our Carpark is changing
Miami One Shopping Centre has over 200 parking spots conveniently accessible via Nundah Avenue and Toombul Avenue. These include parents with parking and disabled parking.
From mid-August, Miami One will be introducing a License Plate Recognition System to the car park. The system will offer ticketless parking which allows customers to drive in and out without the need of a ticket.
Customer Casual Parking Rates are:
0-3 Hours: FREE
3-4 Hours: $10.00
4-5 Hours: $15.00
5-6 Hours: $20.00
6+ Hours: $25.00

- What is ticketless parking?
Ticketless parking uses licence plate recognition to capture and record the entry and exit time of each car that enters the car park, removing the need for paper tickets. This automates the parking experience within the car park. - Why are we doing it?
Miami One is introducing ticketless parking in August 2024. The fundamental aim of our ticketless parking system is to make it quicker and easier for customers to park and connect with our retailers.
The state-of-the-art technology of the new parking system will ensure entry and exit from the car park will be quick and easy by using licence plate recognition to track parking without the need for a ticket. - How many hours can customers park free* of charge?
Customer Casual Parking Rates are:
0-3 Hours: FREE
3-4 Hours: $10.00
4-5 Hours: $15.00
5-6 Hours: $20.00
6+ Hours: $25.00
The FREE periods for each car park will apply once per day unless your exit has been over 60 minutes.
If you return to the centre car park and you have been over the 60min period, you will be able to enjoy another three (3) hours of free parking in the main car park.
- What if I have to pay?
There are two (2) easy ways to pay for parking if you have parked in the centre for over three hours: at a pay station by entering your licence plate details, or at the exit by payWave. - How can I keep track of how long I have parked for?
You can check what time you entered the car park by typing in your licence plate details at the pay station located at the bottom of the travelator. - What if I can’t remember my licence plate number?
It is important to remember your licence plate number as it will become your ticket. It’s a good idea to take a photo of it with your phone. - How does it work?
The ticketless entry and exit are facilitated by the latest number plate recognition technology. Special cameras are located at each entry and exit gate. These cameras read each car’s number plate which then sends a signal to operate the boom gates. - If I don't want to pay, where can I park?
We encourage staff to consider the wide range of public transport options available. - How long do I have to exit the car park after validating my parking?
Customers have 15 minutes to exit the car park after validating their parking at the pay station. - What payment options will customers be able to use?
Credit/debit cards are accepted at the pay machines and payment via payWave will be available at exit. A surcharge of 2% applies to all card transactions. - What will happen if I forget to pay before leaving the car park?
You can pay at the exit with a credit card via payWave. There is also a call button at each exit if you need any assistance. - What should I do if I need assistance at the pay station or boom gate?
